My dad and I own cattle together, this year I really stepped full force into the operation, gaining confidence and the responsibility to manage the cattle. I reached out to a Purina feed specialist with a major in animal nutrition at Iowa State University. We created a balanced diet specifically for my animals, based on the protein levels in our forage. Once I realized how much work, time, commitment, and money goes into these animals, I knew I had to find a better way to market cattle, farmers deserve a premium for the products produced!
